Higher Steering Committee Mandate

KIPRC Higher Steering Committee (HSC) is the highest governing entity, representative of 10 permanent members from across the Kuwait Oil Sector Subsidiaries. The key objective for HSC is provide governance for the realization of strategic direction for KIPRC through implementation of related strategic initiatives.

Key roles for KIPRC’s HSC include the following:

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to KIPRC activities
  • Support the delivery of KIPRC Research & Development/Technology Management activities across all Kuwait Oil Sector subsidiaries
  • Ensure KIPRC Research & Development/Technology Management activities are in line with the KPC 2030 Strategy
  • Make key decisions and approvals with regards to KIPRC activities
  • Resolve identified risks and issues to KIPRC activities
